    I worked at Banco Bradesco full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Bradesco Bank is a solid financial group. Also, a great reference and "brand" for cv. Wok environment is extremely stable and there is a great work-quality of life balance.

    Cons

    There are not many career opportunities. Due to bank´s size (80,000 + employees) it is extremely slow and bureaucratic in its decision making process.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Management should work to improve pace of promotions, and create a good career development program. The best and smartest end up leaving.

    Pros

    Great co-workers, including management.

    Friendly atmosphere.

    It feels like a second family.

    Compensation is outstanding (401K, medical, dental insurance)! They even pay for your school, MBA, courses, etc.

    Cons

    The only con I have about Banco Bradesco in New York-NY is that the salary is below market.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pay could be improved.

    I have been working at Banco Bradesco full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    Work experience. You get to meet people from all walks of life, some of them you'd never imagine working with, but it enriches your career if you know how to control yourself.

    Cons

    Compensation policy. Once approved for a new position, your wage won't immediately increase. It can take up to 2 years before getting paid what has been promised during the hiring process. Most people are unsatisfied, but don't leave the company due to family commitments.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pay attention to your customers, internal and external.

    Large traditional bank with an old mindset

    I worked at Banco Bradesco

    Pros

    * One of the Big Four banks in Brazil, the others being Banco do Brasil, Itaú Unibanco and Santander Brasil.
    * Traditional, well-known brand in Brazil
    * Solid bank with a huge base of customers

    Cons

    * Paternal culture
    * Lower salary compared to competitors
    * No international career opportunities
    * Big-company problems, like bureaucracy
    * +85000 employees - very unsatisfying about being one of many

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    There is a need for cultural change in the bank to promote innovation. The bank lacks incentives to foster employees participation in bringing new solutions. Leadership at Banco Bradesco should also build a mentorship program designed to create relationships that nurture careers through free-flowing ideas.
