    Pros

The non-pay benefits are quite good. Medical is competitive, pension is still in place, and educational benefits are excellent.

    Cons

Pay does not seem to be competitive compared to the surrounding region.

    Advice to Management

Bite the bullet and become competitive to gain and retain the talent necessary to provide world class healthcare.

    Pros

There are always opportunities for advancement in this company as long as you're patient. BJH also pays for a large portion of your education if you use one of their cohorts. Pay is competitive but not great. The company is always willing to train you and better you. This is a well respected company and looks great on a resume.

    Cons

Extremely stressful and competitive job. The entire hospital has a high turnover rate. The company has done away with many of the benefits of being loyal. Morale seems to be an issue throughout most departments. There is always pressure to do more with less and the last success is never enough. There is always a new initiative but there is no sustainment. There are way too many meetings and very little progress gained from the last meeting.

    Advice to Management

When there are new initiatives put in place give the team the support they need for sustainment.
