I worked at Avon Products full-time for more than a year
Pros – Nice chance to earn very competitive salary in total. (modest base wage and competitive % from sales)
Cons – You mostly work with non-profesionals who started they carriers as MLM sales reps in Avon and andvanced to higher positions during time. 95% are women, so it is sometimes very dificult to cooperate with them (beeing non-profesionals) .
Advice to Senior Management – Several times I heard from my CSM that everyone is replaceable (exept her I guess). Nice people management.

I worked at Avon Products as a contractor for less than a year
Pros – - Andrea Jung is an amazing, inspiring, and effective leader.
- Work/life balance was great as an admin (due to my particular SVP).
- Professional atmosphere, beautiful offices.
- For the most part, very good, collaborative, supportive people from all over the world.
- Company discount on Avon products.
- A company that is truly lead by women.
- Internationally known and respected company.
- Hourly compensation was at/above market rate.
Cons – - As with most companies, a great experience is directly connected to those you support.
- Enormous organization and very easy to get lost. Admin roles are very administrative, very little project work. You can start to feel like a robot.
- Heavy calendaring consumes a great deal of EA role, requiring careful relationship development with other EAs and ongoing requests for favors. Particularly when attempting to secure time on an Executive level calendar.
- Meetings running longer than 1.5 hours are typical, leaving you to wonder how productive constant back-to-back meetings are for everyone involved.
- Believe Avon has suffered some since Andrea Jung's change in role.
- You don't get a general sense that senior/middle management cares about you.
- Clear communication was lacking with HR.

I have been working at Avon Products as a contractor for more than a year
Pros – No quotas, commission scale is good. If you hit President's Club, you are guaranteed 40% commission for the next year, but there are ways to cheat the system to achieve President's Club. You can get credit with Avon, so you don't have to lay out $$ for the product before you deliver it.
Cons – Need to buy new catalogs every two weeks
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
