I have been working at Arby's
Pros – Good food. The owner of the franchise allowed us to eat whatever we wanted. This is of course because no benefits are given.
Cons – Training was not sufficiently given to the owner. He had no idea what he was doing and the franchise allowed him to do whatever he wanted only because he was paying a franchise fee. Training was not sufficiently given and even if given, it really doesn't help to train the people to re-fry fries and leaving salads for more than 24 hours. No benefits are offered either. It is just one of the worst franchises to work for. It seems that the franchise do not really care about their name.
Advice to Senior Management – Get yourself trained before you train others. Really check up on quality control as well.

I worked at Arby's part-time for more than a year
Pros – Good people, fun place to work, decent pay, managers were nice and willing to work with me.

I worked at Arby's full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Got this job in high school so the hours were good then. Being a crew member who isn't looking to move up is the best stress free and probably fair position you can get.
Cons – Raises are unfairly hard to get. Was employee of the month on numerous occasions and promoted 3 times (crew trainer, shift manager, assistant manager) and was given a raise 4 times. You will work every holiday except thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Easter. Don't expect any help from the head office that is in bloomington unless you're working for one of the top 5 stores in the company. Something like your slicer lamp is broken? It will get ghetto rigged after several weeks and sometimes months of reporting the problem. The rules don't apply to everyone but god help you if you aren't one of the ones they allow to break rules. You will be told numerous lies and empty promises to try and keep you around as long as possible. I started out there at 16 so I was dumb for several years and was walked all over.
Advice to Senior Management – If you work in the office besides payroll and catering, you should be fired. They will definitely be running this company into the ground.

I worked at Arby's part-time for less than a year
Pros – They do have the best looking uniforms in the fast food business. Some of the crew was nice to me.
Cons – Management was verbally abusive. They were always yelling at employees, especially the new hires. Many of my coworkers had been there for a long while without a raise. There was also blatant disrespect for the work schedules. I was clocked out over an hour and a half before my shift was due to be over. Why bother making a schedule if you're not going to keep it?
Advice to Senior Management – Get some new management because the managers at this store aren't working out.
