I have been working at Aegis Living full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

This company not only provides creative ways of keeping our residents happy but also makes it a priority to make every employee feel important. Throughout the year, Aegis arranges employee recognition awards and prizes.

    Cons

Some challenges are the physical and emotional demand when caring for these residents day to day. Each resident becomes family and it becomes difficult to anticipate changes in health or the inevitable decline of a disease.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Our management team understands each employee position and also what each residents family is going through. I am so happy to be working for Aegis Living and have no concerns with management.

    Pros

Outstanding place to work. Not afraid to share affirmation with employees. EPIC (employee first) meeting is a remarkable way to affirm, thank and challenge employees all at the same time. I've never experienced anything life it.

    Cons

Unpredictable hours, competing interests often collide but that's typical of a busy organization.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have been working at Aegis Living

    Pros

This company really cares about both their residents and their staff. I have met nothing but great people are working together for one mission. After over a year working here I am still surprised at how many truly nice people work here.

    Cons

It can be really hard to hire staff because all of the steps. Not always a bad thing but when you are short staffed it can take a lone time to bring new team members on board.
