ConsYou do not really learn the industries you work in, only the technology they are buying Accenture to implement unless you work hard to understand the business and the clients

Significant amount of people developer programs
Great managers make great teams

ConsLots of people, easy to get lost in a large organization if you don't make the effort
Significant amount of time dedicated to non-project work
Not all managers are great managers

ProsProgressive company, smart folks, good opportunities for job transfers

ConsLots of red-tape, very bottom-lined (everything is about making money), one must know who to brown-nose in order to advance up the food chain

ProsAccenture has excellent benefits, bonuses and merit increases based on your yearly rating. There is a great flexible hours arrangement for those who need it.

ConsThere can be a lot of red tape to get things done. Some of the mandatory steps to close out a project are not necessary.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep on rewarding those who work the hardest.

ProsThe people at Accenture build strong professional and personal relationships. There is a always someone that is willing to help and guide you through every hurdle

ConsThe pay does not always reflect the quality and amount of work sometimes. It is a consulting firm and some people do have a cut-throat and beauricratic mentality.

ProsIf you are a mediocre it'll be one place which wouldn't mind offering you a position but beware, you might be setup for failure.

ConsThe downsides list goes on, there's so much disconnect across verticals and divisions it stops baffling after a point. There's no accountability top down and no working feedback mechanism. On any given day you can face so many unprofessionalism including but not limited to incompetence and lack of integrity/ethics/transparency being highest.

Advice to Senior ManagementOne global company is a misnomer, there's complete lack of alignment, co-ordination and synchroneity across every area across geography.
