Will never work for again - don't value employees

Manager (Former Employee)
Toronto, ON

I worked at Accenture full-time for more than 3 years

ProsNone - did not provide any work experience related to my field, instead was put on projects outside my field of expertise

Cons- Don't care about employees. Dad dying and I could not work weekends as needed to spend time with him. Manager told me "maybe consulting is not for you and you should look for other work". I left ACN May 26 and Dad died June 3. Heartless and cold and only worried about the project
- By law, I have to file US and Canadian taxes if I worked in the US. I worked in the US for part of 1 year therefore filed and as a result received a substantial Canadian return. ACN feels they are due my income tax return even though they have never paid a US or Canadian tax dollar on my behalf. They have a US Bully collection agency calling me every week demanding repayment of my return. I asked them to prove where ACN has paid any taxes on my behalf and I will gladly repay them. To date they have refused to provide this information so I have told them "let's go to court and let the courts decide" for 6 months now and to date, they only call me every week to harass me.

Overall - a bully company that does not value their employees and will work you to the bone (60+ hours per week for a 4 month period), then demand your blood too in terms of your income tax refund even though they have never paid a dime of tax on your behalf.
