    Great Company to Work for

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsThe company offers the possibilit to develop one´s personal strength. The work load is okay. The values of helping people with severe disease are great.

ConsThe company offers a wide range of training programs. However advancements in the hierachy are heavily related to years of work and not always reflect the true qualification of the candidate.

    Forward-thinking, challenging, and satisfying.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsExcellent benefits, interesting work, and a growing company.

ConsIn the middle of a culture change. When the manager is on board with the new culture, it's an excellent place to work. If entrenched in old culture, it can be difficult to not feel held back. But I imagine this will change over time through attrition.

ProsPays well, but you will get dumber working here.

ConsSlow, too many layers, behind the times, poor marketing fundamentals, risk averse

    Overworked, Underpaid and Frustrated

Senior IT Analyst (Current Employee) North Chicago, IL (US)

ProsLarge company with opportunities in many fields.
Opportunities to advance IF you play the game.

ConsPoor work life balance with a lot of unpaid overtime.
Employees must compensate for shortcomings of vendor and contracting partners.
Promotions based more on connections than merit - very political.
    Incompetent management at departmental level.
    Low salaries.

Advice to Senior ManagementHire enough employees to handle workload. Pay more competitive salaries. Rely less on outsourcing or be more selective in choosing outsourcing partners. Learn that culture cannot simply be installed; it must be evolved.

Good company if you work for a good boss.

Senior Project Manager (Current Employee) Lake Bluff, IL (US)

ProsOld company with decent pay. Steady employer.
If you screw up - they will still keep you on a lower performance pay but will not take proactive steps to do anything!

ConsDog eat dog world in the Corporate IT world.
Some of the sr. managers have no clue on what they are doing. They are there because of relationships with Directors and so forth. They have no idea on how to manage the team. No long range planning, no insights. With new culture values, seems like everyone is doing their own thing.
    Commercial is better

Advice to Senior ManagementYou guys really need to cut the red tape, apply some of the culture values to yourself.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

    Fragmented

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsGood for collaborations and research. Satisfying salaries.

ConsWeak leadership, distributed work across sites which is not often efficient both from personal and company development perspective , unnecessary trainings, no respect from colleagues/supervisors if no exact experience from study or work.

Advice to Senior ManagementWake up and look at a fragemented culture and work environment.
