Pros – - You get to contribute directly to products that save people's lives
- On the engineering side, there are a lot of smart people.
- Their products are very innovative

Cons – - At Abiomed, the philosophy of assigning work to employees is to assign more work than an employee can handle. You will always feel behind schedule
- The Salary is not very competitive.

Pros – Excellent technology, progressive thinking, does ok with the resources available.

Cons – Senior management afraid to interact with direct labor. Change, change, change....very progressive thinking without the infrastructure or headcount to ensure it is done right and is sustainable. SLOW DOWN.

Advice to Senior Management – CEO needs to be more approachable. People fear him instead of trust him.
