    Pros

Nice trucks, great customers and pay on time

    Cons

Lies, lies, lies and more lies... sit all the time. They could care less about you as a person. They control your income either by your miles or rate of pay. Can never succeed there. Dead end job!!!!!!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop the lies. Treat your drivers as people and not machines. pay them what they deserve for giving you your job. they lay their lives on the line 24 hours a day, give them respect and you might get some bck

    Application Details

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeksinterviewed at U.S. Xpress.

    Interview Details

Discussed my education, work experience and skills. The person interviewing me was disinterested and not knowledgeable about the position we were discussion. I met with the HR representative, department manager and director of the IT Division. The only person that seemed capable of discussing the position was the HR representative.

    Interview Questions
    • I asked what the advancement opportunities were available and the response I received was..."Advancement is based on the open positions at the time you want to advance." Needless to say, the response to my question was a prediction of the way things are at US Xpress. That was the most difficult question.   View Answer
