I have been working at TransUnion full-time (more than 10 years)

People - most are hard working and great to work with
Performance oriented growth opportunities - hard work pays off

Top Heavy - not enough workers to support existing goals let alone aggressive growth goals
Centralized - goals driven by US Parent
Reporting requirements (internal) are getting cumbersome - multiple reports, same content, 100's of slices
work environment has progressed to very chaotic
Work/life balance is encouraged but hard to attain with current workloads

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

look at hiring more workers - people burning out and feeling like a # and working in a sweat shop
people are starting to feel negative about their performance as they are always rushing, fighting fires and have started missing deadlines etc because too much workload - workloads are an issue. People want to do well but are being hindered by too much on plate
serious departmental analysis is required I believe (ie: ratio of mgmt to workers in depts. to output needed etc)

I applied through an employee referral – interviewed at TransUnion.

    Interview Details

I did the application online and actually was referred by a former employee. I got set up with an interview shortly after and it went very well. The people that interviewed me were very nice and wanted to know more about my experience and whether I felt I'd be a fit for the team. They seemed to be focused more on personality than actual work ethic and skills but it still was a good interview.
