I have been working at Thomson Reuters as a contractor (more than an year)

Solid work culture, easy-going atmosphere, good work-life balance. The office space is not quite open concept, but you can get most of the materials you need to do your work, inclusive of applicable software. With managers in global offices, it's nice to have a bit of independence and not to have someone staring over your shoulder.

Global teams can make it difficult to connect with your supervisors and direct reports. Not enough emphasis on linear training which means you need to be quick on your feet and learn to roll with the punches (not always a bad thing).
