    I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Strata Decision Technology.

    Interview Details

    Was contacted by HR for a phone interview followed up by a in-person interview with multiple people. When I arrived at the HQ, there was no one even at the reception desk to let me in. Finally someone who was filling in showed up to let me in. Waited around for the person to find the recruiter but he was unable to find him. Finally was told to complete a brain teaser which would take me 30-45 mins. I was told by the temp receptionist that I should not have to worry about getting the right answer. They are primarily looking at how you think and work, so I kept that in mind and did not focus on giving the correct answer but rather how I came about to the outcome.

    Another bad sign I encountered is when I was told of the on-site interview I was given the list of people who I will be speaking with. The list given on-site was totally different. And then the people who actually interviewed me were different too! Wow

    During the interview process I was severely drilled by people about databases and the answers I came up with. I was told that I should have gotten aimed at getting the answers right, which is totally different than what was told when I came in. One of the managers who appeared to be sheepish and about 25 talked to me in a demeaning manner as he created the next google. There were couple of other nice folks during the interview who actually cared to interview me about my skills rather than showing up the candidate. This place is a total frat house with bunch of self-entitled young kids hired of UofI and Perdue who promoted each other from the last turnover.

    The sad part was that I was not even walked out when the interview ended.

    • If two boats are travelling in the from opposite ends and 10 miles apart, how much would it take for them to meet in the middle.

      How much paint would it take to paint a floor of Willis Tower.
