    Pros

The best money I could make working part time (weekends only). Most of the employees were enjoyable to work with. 50% discount on food for employees.

    Cons

As a part timer, you get the worst shifts. Often you work all day for nothing. Can be extremely stressful. I got lucky and was serving right from the start, but some of my coworkers worked as hosts and bussers for years without a promotion. Most of the time it was fair, but management does have favourites. Not all reviews were fair.

    Advice to Management

Promote bussers/hosts before employing new servers. Try to be less biased during reviews. Overall everything is more or less ok.

I applied online. The process took 1+ weekinterviewed at Red Lobster in January 2015.

    Interview

The hiring procedure was quite straightforward. Went to the interview, asked the usual questions, why should we hire you, what r yr long term and short term goals. Some behavioral questions, previous experience working in a restaurant etc.The manager was very nice, but me at ease and started the interview in a very positive tone. He was very keen on looking for Customer Service experience.
