    I worked at Professional HealthCare at Home full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    Working with caregivers and clients.

    Cons

    There was no work life balance while I worked for them. I was on call 24/7 and weekends.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Learn to appreciate hard working employees. Compensation should be commensurate with responsibilities. Resume 401K matching since it has been 2 years since the last matching. Salary freeze should be lifted since management cannot even give a penny as an incentive for an employee to stay. The company means well but since being acquired by Kindred it seems that they have no say since the answer will always be "no" and management does not even try. .

    I applied online. The process took 2 daysinterviewed at Professional HealthCare at Home in January 2013.

    Interview Details

    Was interviewed by the regional manager, area manager and branch manager. Just general questions were asked. Pretty generic. It was not disclosed that there would be a company phone and that I was to be on call during the weekends (since I was the only staffing manager at the branch at that point) and before and after work hours.

    Negotiation Details
    No negotiation although I asked if we could revisit the salary after 90 days. Area manager said "We'll see". Never mentioned that there was a salary freeze and no matching 401K.
