I have been working at Mattel full-time

    Pros

Flex hours, half day Fridays, very collaborative culture. Management is very open to new ideas. Passionate and high-achieving teams.

    Cons

Very fast paced and so be prepared for a heavy work load. Systems are antiquated so you waste your time gathering or consolidating information.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more open to employees about career paths.

    Application Details

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days - interviewed at Mattel.

    Interview Details

Interview Process was straight forward. Was head hunted by a recruiter, setup in person after meeting me. I met with the hiring manager and an HR person. They asked basic quesitons, but asked also questions that were unrelated to the role. Ie. They were looking for a director but interviewing for a manager.
