    Very innovative for a large insurance company, focused on implementing a client focused strategy, lots of opportunities within the company.


    Some departments are faced paced, very competitive and can feel cut-throat. Some thrive in this environment, others are not a fit.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Continue to listen to front line employees who are in touch with the firm's clients and implement changes to better serve the clients (financial advisors) who are the company's distribution arm.

    I applied through college or university – interviewed at Manulife Financial.

    Interview Details

    I went through campus co-op recruiting. I only had one 30-min interview and was interviewed by two senior actuarial analysts. This interview process is to select students to enter into their actuarial student program so the interviewers are not necessarily the people who you will be working with.
