    Pros

    Good pay and great benefits are about the only thing good about this company.

    Cons

    If you are single, want to make money and don't mind working long hours, this is the place for you. Be careful not to get hurt though, that will be your end. MYR makes it a point to go with the employee to the doctors office, tells them not to worry about it, tells the doctor how to write up a report, so it does not reflect badly on them or on the OSHA logs. you can check the safety reports and see most employees refuse treatment or medications. Can you say the work intimidation? Then takes forever to pay the bill from the visit. Training is does not exist. They put people in management positions who never have been, and do not know how to manage people, then gives them free reign to do what they want. Politics play a lot in this company, if your are not a "company man" you won't last. This company wants to be your life. This is no balance with work and family, Some employees go months without seeing their families. They say they are big on helping their employees get through anything, but that does not happen either. Bottom line is you have to be single to work with this company and not want any social life, and do what ever they ask, no matter what the cost.

    Advice to Management

    Start training you supervisors better, stop with the politics, watch over your employees, give your employees some family time, not just on their vacation, and most of all stop trying to bully your employees when the get hurt. Read up on OSHA laws and regulations and State laws where your company has branches.

    You get different stories from the person doing phone interviews from HR so you don't know what is true or not. So basically getting the run around when you are trying to get a job. Very unprofessional on their part. I don't understand why it takes a month or longer to hire someone. Maybe I am old school.
