It was a Job, Not a Career

    Former Employee - Supervisor
    Former Employee - Supervisor

I worked at Little Caesar's part-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Little Caesars offered me flexible hours so that I could attend school and work at the same time. I had friendly co-workers who were always there to help me out by taking a shift when I was sick or away.

    Cons

It was often and understandably so a very hot environment. The uniforms weren't very breathable so it was very easy to overheat while working, specially by the ovens. It was difficult to get anymore than minimum wage which is difficult to live on but occasionally a manager would come by who appeared to understand.

    Restaurant Manager Interview

Anonymous Employee in Ocean Springs, MS (US)
Anonymous Employee in Ocean Springs, MS (US)
    Application Details

I applied in-person. The process took a dayinterviewed at Little Caesar's in October 2014.

    Interview Details

I initially found the job through a Craigslist ad. It stated that they were looking for Restaurant Managers. When I went for the interview, I quickly learned that the job was actually a shift leader position. That is NOT what I went there for, and I stated in my cover letter that I was making nearly 50k at my previous job, and that I would be willing to take a little less than that until I proved myself. They offered me $9 an hour!!!

    Interview Questions
    • There were hardly any questions. The GM told me what would be expected of me in the position and I listened. She did ask if I am a hard worker. I felt like I was a teenager being interviewed for a position as a cashier. It was a joke.   Answer Question
    Reasons for Declining

I was not in any position to accept a job paying $9 an hour and 30 minutes away from home.

I came, I saw, I bought a pizza. Little Caesar Enterprises operates and franchises more than 2,500 Little Caesars carryout pizza restaurants throughout the US and in about ten other countries. The chain offers a variety of original and deep-dish pizzas along with cheese bread, salads, and sandwiches. While some stores are stand-alone units, many Little Caesars locations can be found in strip malls and other high-traffic areas; the units typically do not offer dine-in seating. About 80% of the chain's outlets are run by franchisees. Little Caesars was founded in 1959 by... More
