I have been working at Grey Group full-time

Grey has a great culture. People are friendly and there is plenty of opportunity to produce good work.

The salaries are not the best and it is really hard to get a raise. They justify their bad payment to the fact that they are agency of the year.
Depending on the team you work for, you might be spending long nights and weekends at the office.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Mentorship is needed. There is a huge lack of leadership when it comes to CDs and GCDs.

    Junior Project Manager Digital Interview

I applied online. The process took 1 week - interviewed at Grey Group in April 2014.

    Interview Details

This was possibly the most awkward interview situation that I have ever experienced. I was interviewed via Skype by three people and it was clear that they were not comfortable with using Skype as a means of interviewing. The HR person sat off to the side of the computer screen asking me questions, but I could not see her face at all. The other two were managers and both remained standing during the interview. This was strange but even worse was the fact that the computer was set down on a low table which meant that the camera angle was incredibly awkward and I couldn't see either of their entire faces. One would think that at least the HR person would know how to position the camera properly during a Skype interview. In addition to the fact that I couldn't see anyone's face clearly, it was obvious that they hadn't prepared any interview questions or perhaps even read my resume. There were a number of uncomfortable silences and on more than one occasion, I had to fill those silences by asking questions of my own. By the end of the interview, I had asked more questions than they had. The entire situation was very uncomfortable and I felt more nervous than usual due to the awkwardness of the situation. Needless to say, I did not get the job. However, given the lack of preparation and organization during the interview, I am not disappointed.
