I worked at Fulton Financial full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

You gain experience in different aspects of banking

    Cons

If you have a complaint there, there are no resolutions. Every complaint is brushed under the table by Management and Human Resources. This company cares nothing for their employees. The compensation that you receive is said to be competitive, but trust me it is not. I was an employee for several years and I was good at my job yet every year on my review they scored me low so they did not have to give a raise. I am not the only one this happened to. I was told to lie to customers. If you want to believe in the company you work for don't work for Fulton!!!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Train Upper Management and Human Resources to handle complaints by Employees. Care about the people that work for you and they will intern work hard for you. Don't lie and cheat customers because honestly I would never bank at any of your banks and I will tell everyone and every customer everything I know about this company. If you compensate your employees fairly your so called "lean" process will improve because your employees will know they are valued.

    Application Details

I applied online. The process took 1+ week - interviewed at Fulton Financial in May 2010.

    Interview Details

I received a phone interview as well as an in person interview. I have work for a Credit Union and another Commercial bank. I found most employees to lack banking and regulation knowledge.

    Interview Questions
    • There were only basic interview questions such as, "Where do you plan on being in five years?" Trust me though, the turn over is so high in the company.   Answer Question
    Negotiation Details
The pay was lower than my previous job. However, I relocated to New Jersey from another state and I know the job market was though. All these years later, I should've declined knowing what I know now about this company. Its really no wonder they can't keep employees
