    Pros

Global exposure, high performance teams, and mature environment with an eye on profit!

    Cons

Each business unit thinks they are in charge. They all do a great job, however a more synergistic approach to service/product delivery would be more advantageous to the company and its customers.

    Engineering Internship Interview

    Application Details

I applied through college or university. The process took 4+ monthsinterviewed at Flowserve in April 2013.

    Interview Details

I submitted my resume to my school's careerlink. Then they selected me for an interview and interviewed me through the phone, asking me a bunch of situational questions which lasted around 45 minutes. Their HR office was not located at the engineering firm I applied for so then they decided to give me another call for a second interview at the engineering office. The second interview was unorganized and the manager just went through my resume and asked me about my past experience and I was given a chance to ask them questions and view the office and talk to the other employees.

    Interview Questions
    • They were only trying to get to know who I am and wanted to see if I would work well with the other employees, so they exposed me to a bunch of the engineers for me to just have a little chat with them. It was unorganized but still professional.   Answer Question
