I learn well from failure, and I got to experience many struggles with this company. The culture is very competitive but supportive as everyone hopes to succeed as a team.

The typical season ends with certain individuals succeeding far beyond others. The company tends to 'cut their losses' with low performing managers and allow the high performing managers to take their work and employees to finish the season if they are not capable. This is good for the customers but does not help those who are struggling. In the end, if you cannot push yourself to success then you are given mainly advice, not outside help. It is your success and your failure.

    Advice to Management

The royalty structure is designed so that the company exists off the initial profits of every manager, leaving some managers to struggle without cashflow. Having such high initial royalties is good for the corporation to earn their profits but leads to a high failure rate. I know the idea is to reward growth but consider adjusting your royalty structure to allow low-performing managers to cover their own expenses, rather than forcing them to take losses if they are below certain profit margins and revenue points.

Got the job through a friend. Interview was pretty straightforward. Was hired two days later. Interview was done in a coffee shop and I was asked about my school and my hobbies and interests. I was asked if I was comfortable with heights.
