    Pros

    depending on what location and what area you are working: Good amount of freedom and autonomy
    Plenty of opportunity to "get involved"
    great place to learn
    For the most part...everybody is very nice

    Cons

    CEO gets involved in everything...including reviews of the most junior people
    CEO believes hearsay and rumors over actual facts
    CEO thinks everybody around him is a moron
    CEO speaks to people like they are children
    CEO is actually ruining his own company by his misguided policies and knee jerk decisions

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    where do I begin? There is no management. Calypso would be better off as a smaller company with more highly paid, but less employees.

    Calypso has no leverage over their employees because they are not paid well. There is no incentive to perform whatsoever. eventually everyone just leaves.

    I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at Calypso Technology in August 2014.

    Interview Details

    The interview was scheduled by a consultant. The first round was telephonic where the interviewer was from Paris. He presented the job description in simple language, expectation from me and then it was all about my past experience. It was pleasant and ended with good exchange of ideas around the future direction of the role.
    second round was again telephonic and it was more a discussion on market practices, role requirements, relocation hassles, educational background and current job profile.
    HR round was also quick and the negotiations were quick and to the point. the whole process took less than a month to close.
    HR was very co-operative during the onboarding process
