Good people, good management. Really good work environment/atmosphere. I filled an entry level role and found my opinion was always valued and that I was treated with respect. Accountability, Customer Focus and Trust are the company's core values to which they abide by. I Definitely would recommend working for Brink's.

Lots of organizational change creating difficulty in getting tasks done (hopefully this will not be reoccurring). Hire a lot if contractors and can be hesitant to offer full time employment.

    Advice to Management

Ensure that when you hire someone for a contract position that there is a clear goal set for their future path within the company. Ensure the new employee is aware of the new opportunity and that the goals set out for them are measurable.

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeksinterviewed at Brink's, Incorporated (Mississauga, ON).

HR contacted (via phone call) for an interview with the Director. On the day of the interview, the Director had some sort of emergency due to which the interview had to be rescheduled. The HR person seemed really incompetent in terms of rescheduling the interview as she was unable to read the calendar properly and coordinate a reasonable date/time with me. She emailed a few days later indicating that she will schedule a follow up within a week.

After a couple of weeks, I sent a follow up and did not receive a response. A few days later when I sent yet another follow up, I got an out of office whereby I contacted the person mentioned in the "out of office" message. To my surprise, I was informed that the position had already been filled!! The original HR did not even bother emailing me and telling me the same.

All in all, I found the HR department really unprofessional and, to a certain degree, incompetent and, in a way, I am glad I did not end up at a company where HR cannot schedule a mere interview properly!
