I worked at BP full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Good company for geologist in exploration

    Cons

Very weak in engineering like reservoir, production and drilling eng.
After golf of mexico incident, much smaller company that has to do lots if cost cutting.
It has lots of office politics and is not fair and transparent on ranking staff system as they claim ... Very very bad for technical people

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sale the smaller regions and offices like heavy oil canada that bp has no clue on how to develop !! to manage costs better And focus only on what u do best , exploring offshore ..

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
