I have been working at Aon full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Opportunities (mostly lateral), time-off and vacation are better than most, leadership experience, office culture, the employees are truly Aon's strength in this business.

    Cons

Management direction seems confused (push new business, renewals, conflicted in their statements), silos, pay is below average in this market even though management states it's in the upper quartile, management feedback inaccurate.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Goal setting never really followed through, want to keep the up and comers 2% raises won't do.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeksinterviewed at Aon in December 2013.

    Interview Details

Phone interview: HR called about a week or two after online application.
Main question: "What makes you think your background will help with desktop publishing"

2:1 interview: Met with VP and coordinator. Seemed mainly personality-based. More like a friendly chat: very few technical questions.
