As Applied Behavior Analysis Board Certified Behavior Analysis, employee is responsible for overseeing clinical treatment of DSM-5 and ICD-10 Related Disorders, Including both mental health and medical conditions which will benefit from Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as treatment for related conditions. In addition to guiding clinical treatment, BCBA is responsible for providing clinical treatment, detailing and creating treatment plans as well as Individualized Service Plans (ISPs), providing supervision and training for Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavior Technicians, Data Analysis, Intake Assessment and other duties as guided and needed under the direction of the clinical administration team..
ADMINISTRATIVE EXPECTATIONS
:● Maintain regular meetings with staff as related to program development, regulations, andadministrative/paperwork expectations
● Reply to emails within 24 hours
● Maintain weekly meetings with the clinical administration team to discuss and implementemployee support/expectations
● Quarterly or as needed meetings with family to continue to stay apprised of regulation,insurance, and billing changes.
INTAKE ASSESSMENT:
● Maintain contact with intake coordinator to initiate new cases
● Development of initial treatment plans/individualized service plans prior to case initiation asrequired by private, commercial, and state regulated insurances
● As needed based on requirements of insurance, conduct follow up screenings and peer review meetings with insurance/families in process for services
CLINICAL SUPPORT:
● Provide 1:1 support as needed for clients in service
● Provide parent education and support as needed and required in services
● Develop, maintain, and implement individualized treatment plans/behavior supportplans/master treatment plans for clients in services
● Provide clinical supervision for Behavior Technicians/Registered Behavior Techniciansproviding ABA to clients in service
● Provide as needed training and staff development to Behavior Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians
● Provide on site supervision to Behavior Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians asneeded/required by private, commercial, or state regulated insurance
● Maintain, develop, and provide treatment plans to families in services
● Maintain ongoing data collection of service objectives for families in services
● Analyze and update data as related to treatment goals, objectives, and interventions as related to families/clients in services
MISCELLANEOUS:
● Maintain minimum of 30 billable hours weekly
● Complete weekly supervision with support staff (Behavior Technicians, Registered BehaviorTechnicians, Students pursuing BCBA, etc).
● Complete RBT/Student weekly supervision as required by Behavior Analyst CertificationBoard (BACB)
● Maintain BCBA/BCaBA Credential/Continuing Education Requirements of BACB Board
● Maintain State Licensure (if applicable) as required by state regulating body (Board ofMedicine, Board of Psychology, Department of Behavioral Health, etc).
● Attend Human Resources meetings as needed and relating to employee related support
● Maintain weekly contact with clinical administration team
● Conduct and receive yearly performance evaluations as related to job duties, ongoing workrelated duties, and job growth expectations, etc.
TUMS Family Services is located in Colonial Heights, VA and services several areas across the Richmond, Petersburg, Colonial Heights, and Southern Virginia localities. Opportunities for remote services are available but it is preferable that applications are residents within this area in case in-person meetings are necessary.
