    We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Merchant Onboarding Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Merchant Onboarding Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in introducing and integrating restaurant merchants to our state-of-the-art kiosk self-service point of sale device. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate a smooth and efficient transition for restaurant owners, ensuring they harness the full potential of our innovative self-service solution.

    Responsibilities:

    Merchant Relationship Building: Establish strong and positive relationships with restaurant owners, managers, and staff.
    Understand the unique needs of each restaurant and tailor onboarding processes accordingly.

    Onboarding Process Management: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to gather merchant information and requirements.
    Develop and maintain a comprehensive onboarding plan, including timelines, milestones, and training sessions.
    Conduct in-person or virtual meetings to guide merchants through the onboarding process, addressing questions and concerns.

    Training and Education: Provide in-depth training to restaurant staff on using the kiosk self-service point of sale device effectively.
    Educate merchants about the device's features, benefits, and customization options.
    Offer ongoing support to troubleshoot issues and ensure successful adoption of the technology.

    Technical Assistance: Assist with the installation, setup, and configuration of the self-service kiosk within the restaurant premises.
    Troubleshoot technical challenges and collaborate with the technical support team to resolve any issues promptly.

    Customization and Integration: Work closely with merchants to customize the self-service interface to align with the restaurant's branding and menu offerings.
    Coordinate with the development team to integrate the kiosk device with the restaurant's existing POS systems, if required.

    Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of each merchant's onboarding progress.
    Generate comprehensive reports detailing onboarding statistics, challenges, and successes.

    Feedback Collection: Act as a liaison between merchants and internal teams to collect valuable feedback for continuous improvement of the self-service solution.
    Provide insights into potential enhancements or modifications based on merchant feedback.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in customer onboarding, technical support, or customer service roles.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse personalities.
    • Proficiency in explaining technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
    • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
    • Organizational skills to manage multiple merchant onboarding processes concurrently.
    • Familiarity with point of sale systems and restaurant operations is a plus.
    • Flexibility to travel to different restaurant locations for onboarding sessions, if required.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
