Job Introduction:

Cornerstone Orthopaedic Trauma Associates (COTA) is searching for a dedicated and experienced X-Ray Technician who wants to join our growing team with a collaborative mindset to meet the needs of our patients. Responsibilities and Duties:

· Preparing examination room and equipment

· Explaining x-ray procedure to the patient to ensure understanding and comfort

· Operating x-ray machine according to established procedures

· Developing, processing, and selecting the radiological film

· Reviewing the quality of the film and redoing if needed

· Operating within radiologic standards of care

· Taking the necessary steps to avoid undue exposure to radiation

· Maintaining an accurate patient record of completed x-ray procedures

Qualifications:

· Proven experience operating as an x-ray technician

· Completed an accredited educational program (preferred but not required)

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Able to multitask with strong organizational skills

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Schedule:

Hours are flexible. The position is Monday (8:00 am to 1:00 pm) and Tuesday (8:00 am to 1:00 pm).

Pay:

$25 to $28 per hour, DOE
