Former Employee - E7 - Navy - Chief Petty Officer in Norfolk, VA (US)

I worked at US Navy full-time for more than 10 years

The best reason to work in the US Navy is, you become apart of the most honorable branch of the US military services. The Navy give you every opportunity to advance yourself while in their service as well as advancing you education to best suit the area you want to advance in. I can only say my 10 years of service in the USN was the time was a great opportunity from 1960 thru 1970, wish I could do it all over again.

No cons to be had in the Navy
