Lots of opportunity and hard work available but still treated like a new employee with very little flexibility/autonomy.

    Pros

Great earning potential and growth but only one career path which is up to management.

    Cons

No matter how hard you work or how far you exceed your goals, proven IAE's are still managed the same as new IAEs despite leadership's claims to do otherwise. Tenured IAE's who exceed quota should have more flexibility and autonomy. Micromanaging is poor leadership and will push away your best employees. If you have to tell people to do their job and micromanage you're probably not hiring the right people. At the very least proven IAE's shouldn't be held to the same metrics as ones who aren't performing. Sr ISAMs are allowed to work from home one day a week- IAE's should be given this same option. Flexibility and mobility is the future of our jobs and something people are looking for- again something to consider if you want to retain the right kind of employees. Trust in general for employees actually makes people want to work harder as opposed to constantly questioning employees for example need to come in a little late or leave a little early for a Dr.s appt a couple times a YEAR. Why are employees being treated like they are 12 years old and can't make adult decisions? This says a lot about the culture at SHI. Even if leadership was to blame that on the particular manager you're still training or encouraging your manager to manage in such a way and haven't communicated a better way of leading in the organization. These are some huge fundamentals to making SHI a more long term place to work and decrease turnover. Reward reps that produce to keep them around.

    Advice to Management

Listen to everything mentioned above and other reviews lay off the micromanaging and just hire the right people. Create more of an adult workplace and less of a frat house.
