  1.

Chaotic management, lack of focus, employee churn making Patni a very poor place to work.

I worked at Patni Computer Systems

    Pros

    - Awesome peers and other colleagues who go the extra mile.
    - Good base salary levels.
    - Apart from that - frankly - you would not want to work here.

    Cons

    - Red-tape throttles the life-blood out of the company. Highly bureaucratic.
    - Rocket science applied to working our bonus payments which are inevitably late - no matter the job grade
    - SLT are treated completely differently to staff - and it creates enormous tension
    - Appalling information sharing between groups and also in teams - you work blind most of the time
    - Marketing which is light years behind the competition
    - Old fashioned and not- avant garde - won't take risks

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Treat the staff like human beings and not berate them on conference calls using a string of profanities (which does occur - especially at the SLT level.

    - Open and honest communication

    - Sort out the politics which is the most destructive I have ever witnessed
