I worked at Panera Bread part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Since this was my first job I did enjoy working there for most of the time I was there. I really enjoyed my co-workers and a few of my mangers. The customers at this store were average, so were nice and friendly but others were frustrating and rude.

    Cons

Oh where do I begin. First, the management at this store when I was there was a hot mess. Half of the mangers would be against other mangers and constantly cause drama in this store. With this drama between mangers, communication was very confusing and misleading. Secondly, the work ethnic of some co-workers were completely unprofessional. Some of my co-workers were favorited by my mangers, so they were be able to sit back and relax while the rest of the workers who the manger didn't like would constantly get yelled out for not working hard enough. Thirdly, the work schedule would always be messed up. I would often closed at Panera since I was still in high school, so we typically would have about four people closing but sometimes people would be late because the scheduling manger would schedule them for the wrong time knowing that they either have school or another job. Sometimes some people didn't show up because they didn't want to and then come in the next day and everything was fine. This wasn't the only time that Panera messed up the schedule. When people had wrote in the call off book for a certain reason, they would schedule those people those day, even approving those days off, because they are always short staff. I was happy that I was able to find another job and leave this awful place. The only thing I will miss is the free food and most of my co-workers and management.
