Great company if you want to be a cog and not move up in any way

I have been working at Isilon, A Division of EMC full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Good medical and dental benefits, good transportation benefits.

    Cons

Too many management layers. Respect is not given to individual contributors; only to managers. Suggestions are not welcomed. Lack of communication is frustrating. People are not rewarded based on their contributions; but rather how well they follow what management says.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Realize that a lot of the current management is not willing to be innovative or share what is going on with others.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Positive Outlook
    Approves of CEO
