I have been working at Honeywell full-time

Managers - Managers are mostly helpful, knowledgeable, supportive and will usually go to bat for you
Co-workers - There are minimal politics within a department. Most people are constructive, supportive, knowledgeable and effective. Contractors and full-timers seem to get along, and everyone treats each other pretty fairly.
Work-life balance - Culture is understanding of work-life balance. All engineers are provided with a personal laptop with remote connection capability (for working offsite).

Promotions - Promotions tend to be delayed even for very qualified, experienced engineers in team lead roles
Training - Trainings are typically done online. Training content is usually drab, non-specific fluff with no engineering-specific technical content. No other training opportunities are available.
Compensation - Salaries seem to be below market rate, but not ridiculously so. Benefits have deteriorated over the past few years and are no longer competitive (e.g. glasses are not included, paramedical services such as RMT have been reduced to a fraction of what they were).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Negotiate for more competitive benefits
Invest more in training or opportunities for personal growth for employees
More pro-actively evaluate the readiness of experienced and proven employees for promotion

    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
