    I have been working at Healthways full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    -casual dress
    -awesome colleagues
    -amazing PTO (starting 184 hours annual)
    -lenient occurrence policy

    Cons

    -micromanagement culture from high management
    -lack of emphasis on quality
    -collaboration is a company value but is not practiced at all
    -commitment to quality is company value but not practiced at all
    -constantly taking advantage of contractors (they keep hiring contractors over permanent where they dont have any health coverage or paid time off)
    -in our location, no opportunity for advancement
    -promotions do not equal higher salary, just higher requirements and expectations

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Chill out. Remember, that our ROIs, renewed contracts, upsells, etc. are going to come from actually helping members and reducing their health risks... not just getting their call done. It shouldn't be about how many calls we make, but the emphasis should be on the customer experience and how we helped that member improve their health, not just getting through the call as quickly as possible.
