Good pay for some, excellent benefits, exposure to a wide range of businesses

Not a meritocracy. Advancement based on friendships and proximity to Montreal rather than skills or abilities.
No real plan around the life of a transaction, just close to make volume whether done right or not.
Too many resources and opportunity given to originators with no opportunities given to operations.

    Advice to Management

Follow the GE values rather than just play lip service to them.
Trust your employees rather than control them.
Turn EMS into a 360 function rather than a critical, manipulative way to control employees opportunities.
