    Pros

They're a very good company for a number of reasons, which include a fair salary, training, good management practices, very good benefits and I found they were an excellent choice for women in particular because of the benefits they provide for maternity leave. They also are very professional and non-discriminatory, which says a lot for an organization.

    Cons

The last time I worked there was over 10 years ago before I went onto school to complete my bachelor's degree so, it's likely their policies have changed. Their career development at the time was average in helping administrative assistants who excel find other places for themselves within the firm as well as further training so in part this falls to their lack of management at the time.

    Advice to Management

Unsure of what management model EY is using today however directing women who are leaders, team players, etc. in an Administrative Assistant role would be a big step in the right direction. I am confident there are methods for doing this that would make the Boston office very appealing to many women/men who would like an opportunity to work at a high end accounting firm that has a longstanding reputation for excellence. This would be a step in the right direction in retaining employees as well as encouraging them to find a career.
