    I have been working at Brink's, Incorporated full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    Most clients and coworkers were pleasant people. High degree of autonomy, when on the road. The pay was decent before they stopped paying us overtime rates, but continued to work us 55 - 65 hours per week.... is this even legal?

    Cons

    Dysfunctional. There was a lack of accountability for mistakes, creating a dishonest culture. Everybody found a scapegoat and all the weight fell on the shoulders of the few decent employees. The company was TANKING, so they stopped paying us for the overtime we worked. They also paid new employees a substantially lower hourly rate, firing higher-paid vets at the drop of a hat. Over-worked. Under-paid. Very low morale. Dangerous job. This company is struggling, hence they are cutting corners, practicing poor ethics and their quality is diminishing in every aspect.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    This company needs to reinvent itself. Your employees need a boost in morale... a decent work-life balance is a good place to start. Hold people accountable. Reward employees who take initiative. Set your people up for success, not for failure. The cash-logistics industry seems to be struggling. If you want to stay afloat, be innovative instead of cutting corners and sacrificing quality.
