    Note all Blue Cross Associations work independently. This comment is for Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA only. Blue Cross and Blue Shield of MA is a major carrier of health insurance within the state. Being a major carrier, they have had a big influence in how health insurance is being managed within the state including paying providers on health outcomes rather than health services. This is an innovative company and a leader in the field.


    Management relies on the same small core people to lead and participate in project teams. If you are new it is impossible to break into a project team. I found mobility within the organization impossible as well.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Engage all your employees in the good work that is going on in the organization. New employees can disengage quickly if they see they are an outsider.
