I have been working at AT&T

    Pros

Jobs are abundant within its retail side.

    Cons

I see very little opportunity to move up within the company. You have to stay in position a year before you're even considered for another position. But with all the reasons to get written up, its as if the company wants to keep people stuck in retail or fire them.
There is absolutely NO reason to strive for an assistant manager position. The company will keep you in that position for about 4 years before you can move to store manager. All that time, the people you are in charge of ( sales reps) will make more money than you with much less responsibility.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better pay in retail, more opprtunities to move up for people that show initiative with put holding them to an artificial timeframe of progression. More accountability for thosr who aren't performing their minimum duties.
