I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target (Minneapolis, MN) in Sep 2009
Interview
Overall wasn't a hard interview. They ask about your background and go into a lot of detail on the role. Basically you're tracking sales trends of specific items in order to know where to stock inventory for future store needs. They don't grill you.

Question 1
Tell me about a time where you had to take a leadership role within a group?
It consisted of a phone screen with HR followed by 30-minute virtual interviews with three others. Overall, the process was pretty smooth. I was surprised there was no in-person portion.
