Food Counter Attendant at Subway

Declined Offer – Interviewed in Vancouver, BC Dec 2011 – Reviewed Jan 16, 2012

Interview Details The owner interviewed me. My first impression was "oh ok". As I extended my hand (as a sign of respect), introducing myself to him, he said to me "I don't shake hands. Nothing personal, I just don't.". So, from there, I was like, at the back of my head, "wow, you are something".

The interview went well, I answered all his questions, he asked for references and all that stuff, but, I decided to decline the offer, because, I didn't like how the owner was, before, during and after the interview. For me, being comfortable with the owner, co-workers, etc is very important in every job I'm going to take, because those are the people you are going to spend 8-10 hours a day.
