Staples Senior Financial Analyst Interview student candidate

No Offer – Interviewed in Framingham, MA (US) Dec 2011 – Reviewed Apr 14, 2012

Interview Details The initial screening was a phone interview where the interviewer generally asked about my background, skills and why I wanted to join Staples.

Once I cleared the phone interview, I was notified by email about two dates when the interview sessions were being conducted. I selected one of the dates and went there around 10:30 AM. I was told that the interview process would be lengthy. But to call it lengthy would be an understatement. The actual process lasted about 5 hours and included about 6 interviews with different people/panels in a claustrophobic room. This was one of the most exhausting interviews of my life.

After a week I was notified that I was not selected. This was really really disappointing, considering the amount of hardwork and effort I had put into this interview. Straight from following up with the HR Recruiter to sending Thank You emails to all Hiring Managers.
