Interview Details
I went through 3 rounds of interview, 1 was HR, 3 were technical.
HR was the usual trying to get information on my experience etc.
The first technical was basic while the second was advanced.
I thought I did great but wasn't offered a position.
Interview Question – None as such, the advanced tech was kinda more than expected but I had extensive experience so I did good but looks like they weren't impressed. Answer Question
Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Denver, CO (US) Aug 2009 – Reviewed May 10, 2013 New
Interview Details The hiring and interview process was very efficient and inviting. Starting with the HR dept, these people are very friendly, engaging, and obviously are enthusiastic about their job. The process then moves to the hiring manager. Since Sherwin hires from within, each of these people have experience in the job position in which one is applying for. Overall, this is a very engaging interview process.
Interview Question – 'What excites you about managing your own business?' Answer Question
Negotiation Details – There was no negotiation for the store management position. There is a base that is offered to all new prospective employees and it is very competitive within the industry.

Interview Details The phone interview was very relaxed. There was no rush to get through the questions and the interviewer was very clear with what she was asking. The conversation started off with a little background information myself as well as the company. She also went into what the position required and what the company was looking for in an employee.
Interview Question – There were not unexpected questions. Just be prepared to answer "Tell me a time when you.." questions. Answer Question
Declined Offer – Interviewed in Aug 2009 – Reviewed May 08, 2013 New
Interview Details Pretty structured, first interview with HR over the phone, then in person, and finally with the store manager or regional director. Overall rather standard, there was no panel-type interview involved. There were some odd questions that didn't have much to do about the position or company, which i assume was to get a better perspective as to who you are as a person, but they definitely felt forced. Overall, though, a pretty straight forward process.
Interview Question – What impression would someone have of you in the first 5 minutes of speaking with them? Answer Question

Interview Details I went in to the store to apply. After completing my application, I was asked a couple of questions ( I call them per-qualifying questions). It took maybe a week or so before I received a call back. Soon after I received a call asking if I was still interested. Interview questions were pretty easy and simple.
