Interview Details I applied in person. I was called in just to go over basic paperwork. There really wasn't a question interview because I knew the manager. I gave her my basic background with customer service.

Interview Details I came in filled out application then I received a call a few days later from the manager and was hired wasn't to complicated.

Negotiation Details – there was no negotiation she said x i said yes

Interview Details I personally was asked to work for the store.

Interview was typical common sense questions of "What would you do's" "How would you do's" etc

Interview Details I was called by the Rite Aid I worked for after having an interview at another one. The manager called me and asked me if I was interested in a position available at another location and I said yes. She set up and in-person interview two days later. Once there. I was taken to a small room which was the managers office. Two assistant managers asked questions about former employment (I didn't have any), if I was in school, and why would I be a good fit for their store. I was also asked about times I showed leadership roles, worked in a team, and came over obstacles. I was told I'd be a cashier and they would work with my school schedule. They gave me a drug test slip and I had to go to a specific place within 24 hours. A week later I got a call to come in that Friday with the Rite Aid uniform. When I arrived they told me my hourly wage ($7.35), and I had to sit at a Computer to do online training for two days (4 hours each day).

Negotiation Details – I did not negotiate because this was my first job. If you have prior experience I'd suggest negotiating a higher pay, but not in an aggressive way. You will be doing more than just being a cashier and should be getting paid more as a result. for example, I was a cashier and still had to stock shelves, go around the store checking for expiring items, add sale stickers, check inventory, and stock shelves on "truck day". I think all that deserves a higher pay!

Interview Details Filled out application in-store and was given a number to call for a personality test. Called in for an interview a week or so later for an in person interview. When I showed up I was asked taken in to managers office which is practically the size of a closet. Very lax enviroment; I showed up to interview in school uniform and was hired on the spot.

Negotiation Details – Minimum wage start rate no negotiation

Interview Details There were a lot of questions that wanted you to share times where you had to handle poor performers, drive sales, and implement change.

Interview Details Interview lasted about 15 minutes. They only asked simple questions and what skills I had that made me qualify for the position. Went straight to the paper work, but manager did not bring it to my attention that he placed me as a front-end cashier, and that my payment was going to be minimum wage.

Negotiation Details – None

Interview Details Manager was thorough in asking about my career objectives and why I wanted to work for the company. Honest about the demands of the position, need to be willing to work a varying schedule, and the importance of being reliable.

Negotiation Details – Conditional job offer> Drug Test> Background Test> Intake processing. I didn't really negotiate much because the offer was about what I was asking for at the time.

Interview Details It took an entire month for me to get hired. First you fill out a paper application and hand it in to the store manager. They love having their egos stroked. Dress nicely; they love that. Call a few days to a week later and they'll let you know if they want you to come in to do the assessment. It's a joke. Basic questions you really should know the answers to. After that, give it another week and call back. I did and it took them forever to process me. I went in for a simple interview, pretended to be nice and like people, and here I am, a not so proud employee of Rite Aid.

Negotiation Details – Absolutely no negotiation. As the manager said, I made "a measly $7.25 an hour."
