Interview Details
The time for the interview was supposed to be at 4PM, I was there early, so I didn't mind waiting, however, the interview didn't start until 4:30PM. I guess they were so busy.
So, when one of the swing managers showed up, he wanted me to take another exam, when I saw the papers, I mentioned to him that the other manager already gave me the exam. It turned out, the other manager didn't submit it, so I had to do it all over again. No big deal. It took me not even 5 minutes to finish the exam. After the exam, the swing manager left, he said he was going to do something. I waited.. And waited.. And waited... Another 30 minutes later, the swing manager came back and he asked me a single question "Why do you want to work for McDonald's?" - After that, he asked me to come back the next day, for the second interview. I said yes.
So, the second interview came. Again, I came early, as always. Had to wait another 30 minutes. No big deal. The Assistant Manager started asking me questions and I answered them confidently, then he said to me "I am hiring you, I will get the papers for you to sign". He left, came back with the papers, then he told me, he will ask one of the managers to call me and let me know when I will be starting. I read and signed the papers. Gave it to another manager (good grief, how many managers do McDonald's have?) - This manager was very nice, he introduced himself and again, mentioned to me the name of the other manager whom will give me a call. I said thank you and left.
-----
One week later, I have not received anything from them. I was being anxious, I called them, the lady I was talking on the phone didn't seem interested to have a conversation. She wasn't the one I was planning to talk to, but since the other manager wasn't there, I did ask her what I was going to ask the other manager. To me, that conversation wasn't clear, so I waited another 2 days and called them back.
To my surprise, the manager whom was supposed to contact me had no idea that I was hired. She was asking a few people, if they hired me, while I was on the phone. Anyway, the training will start soon. I do not understand though, the schedule of my availability is way different from the training hours. Honestly, I do understand, maybe those are the hours they are not busy and maybe the person whom will train us is available during that time.
I just wish the staff will be able to communicate well with each other and not leave their prospect employees hanging.

Interview Details Had it easy due to a family member already working at the restaurant. Either way, not very hard as McDonald's hardly ever turns anybody back, especially couple years ago. Not very hard questions at all. They might ask you how long you plan on working with them (say at least 12 months) due to costs of training, what hours you can work and what type of role do you want to play (cooking, cashier, drive through etc).
