No Offer – Interviewed in Toronto, ON Sep 2010 – Reviewed May 15, 2011
Interview Details The people were very nice, but very disorganized. I went through 3 different phone interviews with 3 individuals from 3 different divisions, then went through the interview process at 3 different locations. After successfully navigating the interview process I was told that they would be in touch regarding next steps. After no word and numerous follow-ups, they informed me that there was an issue with the internal employee requisition request. I had accepted another offer at that point.

Declined Offer – Interviewed in Lincolnwood, IL (US) May 2013 – Reviewed May 21, 2013 New
Interview Details Lots of email and automated phone calls to schedule interview itself. Once I got there, I waited 40 minutes past my scheduled time (In which case I watched the Customer Service dept operation that was a complete mess). Then I got into a small, very unorganized HR office and was read situational questions from a sheet by the HR manager and asst. store manager. Was told they needed to finish the interview process and it would take the rest of the week (this was on a Tuesday), however, I got an offer the next day. Turned it down though because of having to wait and the disorganized mess that was their customer service center.

After that, one of the managers interviewed me and basically asked the same type of questions. Overall it took about an hour, they said they would give me a call in about a week, but instead I got a call in two days.

No Offer – Interviewed in Milan, TN (US) Apr 2013 – Reviewed May 10, 2013 New
Interview Details The interview was done by asking questions off a paper. Instead of giving me a response, the HR Manager and Store Manager just wrote down my answers. I had no idea if they liked my responses or what they thought. It was very impersonal. I felt more like a number and not a person. I think they hired someone already at Lowe's, since they told me that there were a few people there that wanted to interview also. If that's the case, why do they waste people's time?
