Anonymous Interview Candidate in New Delhi
Application
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks.I interviewed at Fractal (New Delhi) in 2014-08-01
Interview
Applied through Employee referral got a call after 2 weeks, Aptitude Test, Technical Round, HR Round Aptitude Test - CET Based questions, Was average difficulty, 12 people were selected after 35 odd people were interviewed. Technical Round - I was expecting the panel to be friendly and understanding, However it wasn't the case, I was interviewed in Gurgaon office, One Lead Analyst and One Senior Analyst in the interview, Lead analyst was constantly trying to make me uncomfortable by telling how the job is unsuitable for me, asking questions about Financial Industry and stressing on Quantitative Reports despite of the fact that I told him that I have no Quantitative experience. Also he was asking me why I intend to move back to Mumbai, He was like Delhi should be fine. Senior Analyst was nice and Considerate. One Guesstimate question that I presented in my way, He didn't agree and was like your method is completely wrong despite of the explanation I gave. It seemed as if he was in a hurry and wanted to rush for lunch. Concluded the case study mid way and said we will convey the feedback to the HR. I was hoping to be a part of this company after so many positive reviews, It's true how one person can change your outlook towards a company. I am highly disappointed. People need to be humble and not vent out personal frustration during the interview.
