FTI Consulting Senior Consultant interview questions

They goast interviewee, waiting for 1 hour and no notification. Tried to reach their HR, and asked me to give my resume but then never respond to me. Disappointed for their HR process!

First round was a typical HR screening with practice specific recruiter. Second round was behavioral and technical (two sessions, one case interview) with members of practice. Final round was behavioral / offer.

I had my phone interview scheduled and half an hour prior to the meeting, they informed me on email that they moved forward with another candidate and canceled my interview. Left me perplexed with their hiring plans! Good luck to the team although likely not going to consider applying for any opportunities here in future.

1) Assessment exam online with about 40 questions which were mostly multiple choice and some problems to solve and submit in excel file (straightforward DPO, DSO, debits and credits). 2) interview with a senior director which was half walk me through this accounting process. 3) interview with 2 senior managing directors.

The process was straightforward, with a couple of standard interviews and a presentation. However, the process was quites slow and the recruitment took a long of time to respond especially when the results were not good.

2 interviews, one with MD, one with HR. Comprehensive conversation around technical side of things as well as fit. There were no trick questions, they were just genuinely trying to get to know me ans whether I was the right person for the job.

Well managed, several interview rounds with members of hiring team and seamlessly scheduled by the internal recruiter. Communication was clear and timelines were fast between interviews. Whole process spanned across two and a half weeks for 4 interviews.

Couple of rounds with tests depending on group. They are fairly straightforward with industry specific groups tailoring their interviews. Takes a couple of weeks to go through the entire process for FTI.

Straight forward interview process, initial talk with HR rep to go through generic questions - why did you apply? Why FTI? Prior experience etc Then had a technical interview with a Director (from the team the position would be working with) - First half of the interview was more a chat about role expectations, day-to-day activities. Second half was technical SQL related, was asked questions on searching through columns/rows for regex patterns and basic join queries. Final interview was with director & managing director of technology - not technical, more of a chat, a bit more about FTI, what’s expected and some more questions about my experience. No offer as I was told they went with someone who had prior experience with e-discovery.
